Results-driven Responsible Business Conduct (RBC) and E&S specialist with 13+ years of experience advancing sustainable and inclusive value chains across Africa. Currently serving as Principal Consultant at ERM (EMEA), he provides senior technical leadership on E&S and HRDD safeguards, and stakeholder engagement across infrastructure, energy, agribusiness, and natural resource value chains, leading multi-country due diligence assessments, risk analysis, and mitigation planning aligned with UNGPs, OECD, IFC, and ILO standards. He has strong expertise in stakeholder mapping, multi-stakeholder facilitation, and public-private dialogue, supporting governments, private sector actors, MSMEs, and communities to identify, assess, and address human rights and environmental risks. His work includes designing HREDD-aligned action plans, facilitating participatory engagement processes, and strengthening compliance and accountability systems across complex value chains. Previously at Fairtrade Africa, he led the implementation of HREDD systems across agricultural supply chains, building the capacity of smallholder farmers, cooperatives, and MSMEs to meet international market and sustainability requirements. His experience spans due diligence assessments, capacity building, and development of social compliance and data systems that enhance market access, resilience, and competitiveness. He is recognized for translating global RBC frameworks into practical, locally relevant solutions that support sustainable trade, inclusive growth, and measurable impact.
